Technology has moved us from caves into skyscrapers. The only way to ensure survival is to continue to advance; to step foot on other worlds.
- We didn’t stop using tractors so farmhands could keep digging with shovels.
- We didn’t ban calculators so accountants could keep doing long division.
- We didn’t outlaw washing machines so laundromats could continue to staff hand‑scrubbers.
The argument that we should stop technological advancement simply to save jobs is invalid.
New technology will always cause jobs to become outdated. It will also create new jobs.
Farmhands were needed to operate the tractors, mechanics were needed to maintain them, factories were needed to produce them. Farmhands moved from the fields into the factories.
Times change, people will adapt.
